ABOUT US

Meker Group, headquartered in Istanbul, is an international trade, logistics, ship chartering, and strategic consultancy group specializing in bulk and breakbulk commodities.

Founded by Çağrı Meker, the Group is built on more than 25 years of hands-on experience in international commodity trading and maritime logistics. Throughout his career, Çağrı Meker has played a significant role in the export of Turkey-origin cement, steel, and bauxite, contributing to large-scale and long-term trade flows across multiple regions.

Through his Swiss-based company, Linerin International Trade Solutions S.A., millions of tons of cement and steel were successfully exported over the years, establishing strong relationships with manufacturers, shipowners, and international buyers.

Meker Group operates extensively in the Caribbean region, where it maintains strong local partnerships and supports continuous and reliable supply chains for cement and steel products.

The Group’s Dubai-based subsidiary, Ferrocem Ship Charter & Trading FZCO, focuses on ship chartering and maritime logistics, strengthening Meker Group’s control over freight, vessel selection, and operational execution on international routes.

In the bauxite sector, through a strategic partnership with Medcem Global, Meker Group has been exporting approximately 800,000 tons of bauxite annually from Turkey since 2019. Thanks to a business model developed by Çağrı Meker, bauxite exports to major global cement producers are carried out jointly with Medcem Global, ensuring scale, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

In the current year alone, Meker Group has successfully transported 716,000 tons of cargo from Turkey to the Caribbean, using vessels chartered exclusively by the Group, highlighting its strong chartering capability and operational discipline.

Today, Meker Group executes exports from Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia, India, Vietnam, and other major manufacturing countries, delivering integrated trade, shipping, and logistics solutions to international markets.
