Meker Group, headquartered in Istanbul, operates in international trade, logistics, ship chartering, and strategic consultancy.
Its founder Çağrı Meker, with over 25 years of industry experience, has played a significant role in Turkey-origin cement, steel, and bauxite exports. Through his Swiss company Linerin International Trade Solutions S.A., he has successfully executed millions of tons of cement and steel exports over the years.
Meker Group works extensively in the Caribbean region, particularly in Guyana and Suriname, where it maintains strong local partnerships.
Its Dubai-based subsidiary Ferrocem Ship Charter & Trading FZCO specializes in ship chartering and maritime logistics, further strengthening Meker Group’s international operational capability.
In the bauxite sector, through a strategic partnership with Medcem Global, the company has exported 800,000 tons of bauxite annually from Turkey since 2019. Thanks to a business model developed by Çağrı Meker, bauxite exports to all major global cement producers are carried out jointly with Medcem Global.
Additionally, this year alone, Meker Group transported 716,000 tons from Turkey to the Caribbean using vessels chartered exclusively by the company.
